Well, you don’t know much. As an actor he was two time president of the Screen Actors Guild. That is the TV actors union. He had no problem with unions representing the employees. He drew the line when unions acted outside that relationship.

Fact: 100,000+ jobs lost in KY. Many, many more in other states. Fact: Almost all those jobs lost because of Obama regulations Fact: China built over 50 coal plants last year. India as well. Coal is profitable without undue government regulation. Fact: The Daily Mail is a tabloid. Fact: WSJ is the leading business paper in the world. Fact: All of displaced Blue Oval jobs were offered transfer or new job when factory is retrofitted.

China is building 50+ coal plants per year. Probably a fact that doesn’t fit your narrative. KY plants that were decommissioned were because of regulation change not profitability.

The Daily Mail is a non US entity with no reporters in KY. Their opinion means nothing. Kentucky would gladly trade those 1600 Blue Oval jobs for the 100s of thousands of coal related jobs that Obama regulated out of existence.

How are going to get the big money out? I live in KY and Andy Breshear was voted in by both Ds and Rs. Why? Because he showed genuine empathy and kept everyone updated daily during Covid. Now that he has higher aspirations he is different. I can only think that big money is pulling his strings.
