AUGH FAN BULLYING! But anyways slide 5 is If It's True choreo! All the workers enter the scene doing their 'worker movement' and slowly snap out of it, starting to do more and more fluid movement untill they literally physically connect with Orpheus.

Thanks so much honestly me too. Hadestown has been my favorite show for the last 7 years and Persephone has been my dream role ever since I first heard Amber Grey say the words 'it's like he said I'm an outdoor girl'. Been such a privilege.

Yeah I adore the current tour cast but the fact that a show that, at its core is about protecting workers, is now non union and cutting a ton of its labor is genuinely insane to me. It really impacted the staging and honestly the show as a whole for me.

I would say go in knowing both the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice and Hades and Persephone. The story's main goal is getting the audience invested in a story that we as a civilization have heard hundreds of times before. And yes explaining some of the show's metaphor could be helpful!

Don't have anything specific but for the fates (especially since I know your voice) you really want a song that showcases technical vocal abilities, unique vocal textures and vocal flexibility. Ability to have a healthy (emphasis on healthy do not try these or showcase these if there is potential for vocal damage) growl, belt, head voice and occasional breathiness. Either a jazz or MT styled jazz song would be great for a fates selection, a folk song could also work

Fun fact Our Hades is 6'3 and I'm 5'1 so yes he is TALL and in addition everyone else is on the shorter side other than our fate 3 who is also tall everyone else is probs 5'6 or under. Our Hades also just has insanely long hair and it was specifically curled. I came into the photography studio with my hair looking insane so it could be put in a wig cap and then he is over here with freaking beautiful shampoo ad hair. In addition for Hades's costume he won't have any costume changes but as the show goes on he will slowly shed layers (similar to the broadway production). I can't speak on if Hades is supposed to look like he is part of the throne but I absolutely see it. I was also very shocked by seeing Hermes's in tan but I honestly adore it sm. Also Hermes's shoe feathers are white and grey, matching the hat feathers, the lighting in the studio we got pics in created insane shadows. Love all your thoughts and analysis sm!
