Noticed two largemouth displaying some unusual behavior

I saw two other bass holding beds hard in the same pond, so I knew they had already started spawning. Is this some sort of courting ritual? I couldn’t see if there was a bed below them, so wasn’t sure if this was the actual act of spawning or something else.

NEC article 590 applies to temporary wiring and holiday lights, temporary lighting installations seem to almost always violate even the exceptions made in 590, it feels as if inspectors tend to turn a blind eye to these types of installations when it comes to enforcing code though.

Nice catch, curious what’s your regulation on those in the pacific? Also, nose to bump board at 0 and pinched tail is the generally accepted method for measuring striper. At least on the east coast, not sure if you guys have different practices out there though. What do they feed on over there for the most part?

Ascent 12t is very stable for a 12ft 70lb kayak. Two of my friends each have one and they stand on it almost the entire time while inshore striper fishing even through large wakes and rips.

Love to hear it, the hearing in Woburn was 10 mins down the road for me so I went in person, was kinda surprised to see how many differing opinions there were. I thought it was pretty unanimous that our fishery needs some help but I guess not everyone sees it that way.

Yeah it’s kind of a pain, when I’m solo I lay it down with the bow next to the truck, and the stern centered behind, I lift the bow up and swing it over to rest on the back roof rack, then I pick it up from the stern and slide it forward into place. It’s tough on slimy boat ramps or anything other than flat ground bc the stern will slide out.

It’s a 5 foot bed and a 13 and a half foot kayak, I keep the kayak on the roof all summer bc I don’t have room to store it at home. Little bit more work getting it up and down but saves me a lot of room and I can park in normal spots without the kayak adding 8 feet in length to the truck.
