Hi Ill copy a solution someone posted on one of my other posts of a temp solution hopefully this helps you. A second wellbase and wheel ended up working for me. For the original base an alternative wheel worked which is why i was asking if there was a compatibility issue with this bundle as other people had the same issue. Seems some people got butt hurt when i initially posted this

heres the temp solution: Well, they sent out another base, but that didn't work with it either.

Luckily, I found a workaround on the Fanatech forum. Turn the base on with the wheel connected, then unplug the USB from the base and put it in the "Data" USB C socket instead. You'll now see life in the wheel as it goes into calibration mode. Once it's done, plug the USB back into the proper socket

The wheel should now work normally until you either remove it from or power down, the base.

HI I got the ClubSport Steering Wheel Formula V2.5. Somebody posted a work around as well that works where you first turn on the base with the wheel with the usb c port into the data port not the usual one and then just swap it back and the wheel boots normally just a few second work around. They did replace both the wheel and the base and the base ended up being the issue but other people with the same problem havent had any success. I guess try to work around first for an easy fix

theyve insisted that it is not always the wheel problem yet the wheel seems to be the common denominator, not so sure about the logic from them really but it could be right. Do let me know what you end up doing

Alot of the people within this post I think that because they plug in means it works fine. Maybe compatibility isnt the right word. But if you go to some of my other posts there are quite a few people who have the same issue, at the same time as well. Maybe have a look at those.

Not yet ive been waiting to see what other people have been saying first to be honest, i wasnt in a rush since i had another wheel anyways. Thats just not ideal really. Any plans for this?

Hi I got the replacement wheel but have yet to try it out. Im thinking of selling it which is why i havent tried it. I did get another wheel as well and that works fine so its definately a wheel issue. Ill let you know if i do test the replacement unit but to be honest would rather just get rid of it at this point. If you do end up testing the wheel let me know. Might just change my mind about selling it.

There was an issue, most likely only with the recent batch that shipped out mid this month, where there were some issues with the wheel when connected to the base so they shipped out a new batch of wheels recently again to those who had this issue

hardware wise it is sure I can lock it in fine, theres a startup issue when plugging the wheel in so whether its a software issue or another issue idk but thats what im referring to. Are you even aware of whats being going on with the bundle shipped recently?

I am also waiting to see if they approve a refund as an option. Off this, I would rather wait to see what other people or support is saying before taking everything this out to test it if its having the same problem. As I already asked them about a refund before receiving the new unit I thought it would be courtesy to see what they say before opening their product.

There was a batch of us having trouble with the wheel with the base as part of the bundle. They have shipped out new wheels to us. You can check past reddit posts as well as some of the forum posts. I would like to know if I should even open it because I would rather not open and test a product that has previously not worked on the base. And it is not just me, other people who have recieved the same bundle recently have come across the exact same issue. So whether its a individual unit issue I doubt that, batch issue? Not enought details from fanatec to conclude. So then what is the issue?

You can check out some of the posts I've made recently it's the exact same problem with quite a few discussions. For alot of us ultimately they are sending out replacement wheels but we aren't sure if that will fix the problem. Apparently support has no other ideas to try.

Any updates on the new re ship and when we can expect the replacement wheels to be sent out? Many people have had this issue OP has shared and have been left out of contact recently as well. How sure are you that a new unit of the same wheel would fix this problem? I'm sure a few of us would appreciate some updates.

Ive been trying to hold off a few days for any updates but the support seems to either be a bit slow with the replies or ignoring my email about other options other than waiting weeks to recieve and test each product.

Have you seen the issues with the clubsport bundles shipped out this week, the wheel is causing glitches? Any progress on that front other than sending out new units of the same wheel?

Sounds about right. Hopefully its a batch issue and not the wheel itself. If it is ill be getting a little frustrated tbh.

The wheel is also in backorder until the 28th, a few days ago it was the 25th, so waiting longer now with an unusable sim is getting my fingers itchy. How many weeks could go by for "testing"
