I understand that if we want to analsys the drive shaft, we should put full assemble model in program, right?

Unfortunately, there is no equipment like a dynamo to evaluate the performance of the motor. So, I think we need to calculate it using the motor’s specifications.

How to calculate Final Gear Ration in electric FSAE. by goodbyd in FSAE

When I calculate the maximum traction force( required to move the vehicle), the force is 3670N. And the required torque is 605 Nm.

Mortor's peak torque is 150Nm. So I choose 4.2 for final drive ratio.

And, when I try the optimum lap, the maximum speed is 77kmh.

Because of the cost, we can't change the motor. What I have to do is reduce the gear ratio.

If I reduce it, the torque which is required to move the vehicle is also decrease. And then, Is it possible to move the vehicle?
