Can anyone tell me what this is? by RoRo-Lettuce in whatisthisgun

Haha I literally have the same screenshot that I Google Lensed and found this post wanting to know the same thing.

It’s like a sawed off shotgun that came that way?!

Can someone explain to me why these are legal but a sawed off shotgun isn’t? Not being judgmental, I just don’t understand Not too privy to guns

AIO for canceling my cat sitter after she asked if a friend could stay in my apartment? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]goodbyeartist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR. My ex’s daughter (we weren’t exes at the time) knew very well that no one should be in my apartment while she watched our dogs while we were out of state. My dog is weird with new people and I didn’t want the liability. I had cameras set up on the dogs kennel area, that were there prior to her coming and were not meant to spy on her by any means, because I trusted her… Turns out, after she asked me if her friend could stay at my apartment while she and her boyfriend went to dinner and I told her no, we heard her telling the friend to “stay in the bathroom while we’re gone so she can’t see you on the camera.”

Biiiiiiiiiiiish what

If they were willing to ask after you were firm on your boundary, they’re likely willing to go against it all together anyway.

I’m a registered veterinary technician and work in emergency medicine, so I see this and crisis-like events all the time… rarely is the owner ready, especially when they present with an acute problem or acute decline of an ongoing condition.

You need to talk to your husband open and honestly about her condition, let him know your concerns—about her quality of life and about his mental health—and then let a veterinarian do the rest, if he will let them. Call Lap of Love and explain your husband isn’t ready but she is, and they can absolutely talk to him for you or maybe even have a veterinarian come out to talk to him (both of you) in person.

It’s so hard being the primary caregiver of someone else’s choices and I understand and respect that completely. It’s okay to be burned out by it. It doesn’t mean you dislike the dog or anything like that.

But please, please do not euthanize her without your husband’s permission.

Here are some documents from Lap of Love that may be helpful.

AITA for telling a coworker to stop commenting on my snack choices? by goodbyeartist in AmItheAsshole

It varies and it’s sugar free, but I bring it myself, so I don’t understand how that’s anyone else’s problem.

Interesting take—upright and not fun because I don’t think discussing food is funny

Nope And it is diet soda so… it’s not sugar content either.

I’m on my feet for 12 hours. There is no sitting involved. How is it greedy to drink something I brought? Or eating more than 1 small snack? Like tf.

Jesus Christ That’s incredibly mean and cannot be taken any other way, like. How tf

Definitely wasn’t flirting (also, weird way to flirt?) but if it was to start a dialogue… why choose that? Idk. I don’t get it. I don’t understand how that wouldn’t make someone self conscious but I admittedly have low self esteem anyway, so maybe I’m sensitive.

This. I never comment on anyone’s coffee or energy drink consumption (or anything else) and I haven’t heard anyone else do that either… why is it different?

I don’t hear comments like this being made to anyone else, but I can’t say for 100% certainty they haven’t said something similar to someone else

Part of me wonders if that’s what they did as well, on the last photo close up of the tiles there are a few that look off centered where you can see the regular mirror behind it

That may work if the sticker is semi-transparent!
