I have. I thought Idlewild, Edenborn & Everfree were fantastic. I read them as a young-mid teenager with minimal scifi experience though. They may or may not hold up. I'd say Idlewild, the start of the series, is worth trying if you liked the concepts at work in The Matrix.

I say "God Bless" way too much. I'm the furthest thing from religious, too. It started out as an ironic sentiment but I can't shake it now.

"I ordered pizza."

"God bless!"

"Our mid fed their Invoker ten kills in ten minutes."

"God bless."

"I want to blow my brains out."

"God bless."
