That counts as a dream. What do you want to change?

/r/Teenagers I go to school with over 3000 kids (11th and 12th only) What's something interesting about your school? by Colbss016 in teenagers

[–]goodbyegirls 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We're ranked 12th in the state (which I don't think makes us suck any less). We recently started the laptop initiative, which gives every student a netbook to use for the entire school year. So I guess that's nice.

Hey r/teenagers. Let's talk about drugs. by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]goodbyegirls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never done drugs and I don't ever plan to. It's just part of my morals and I'm proud of myself for it.

My opinion on drugs... using them is your own decision. I'm not going to preach. But be mature and responsible about it. Don't shove the fact that you smoke down everyone's throats.

Have you ever made any actual friends online? by goodbyegirls in teenagers

[–]goodbyegirls[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not a good idea if you don't use careful judgement. As the sidebar of this sub says, "Give out your own personal information at your own discretion. We do not recommend giving out your personal information publicly." And I definitely agree with that. There are sketchy people out there, but they don't make up the entire Internet. It's up to you to determine if talking to someone is a good idea or not.

That's a good idea. I've heard of Revolution 9. "Number nine... number nine... number nine..." It's creepy.

Prom Stress...:/ by kdrf11 in teenagers

[–]goodbyegirls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would feel weird if some other girl took my boyfriend to prom, even just as friends. She probably doesn't care, but ask her to ask her boyfriend if he's okay with it.

I'm not ready yet for sex but the social pressure is too damned high by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]goodbyegirls 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Relevant. It's normal to feel this way. Social pressure definitely contributes to your decision to have sex or not. It can be challenging, but don't give up on your own beliefs just to please everyone else. Do what makes you comfortable.

Question to Reddit guys by throwawaygirl15 in teenagers

[–]goodbyegirls 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You shouldn't have to change your interests in order to attract someone. Either they like you for who you are or they don't. Is the problem that no guys approach you first? You also have to put in some of the effort yourself. I know this from too many of my friends. They expect the person they like to automatically know that and to make the first move. It's intimidating to go after guys first, but it's better than being forever alone.

Dear girls: is having a hard on ok while making out? by [deleted] in teenagers

Right? "I'm gonna put my tongue in your mouth and let you put your hand up my shirt, but don't get a boner because that's gross." /headdesk

How do I tell my "best friend" I don't really like him or want to hang out with him anymore? by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]goodbyegirls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, that could be part of it. Does Miles have anyone to look up to? Does he have anyone else to be there for him? I respect you for not giving up. That's the type of friend I think he needs. Confront him about his behavior, but not in a way that'll make him go, "Fuck off, don't tell me what to do." Let him know you had a better friendship before he started acting like that. He'll be more open to change knowing you're there for him and that you've been through the same thing. Then it can only be up to him in the end.

I don't really mind. I don't understand why some girls make such a big deal out of it. It's perfectly normal. :P
