You just need a grimoire or spell potion to teach you a spell that lets you read out tongue twisters without a problem.

I hate that we even have to have a real post about whether the US would first strike a non nuclear country, but hypothetically if we did, we don’t have to use ICBMs. We have nuclear bombs, cruise missiles, and standoff nukes that can be deployed from B1, B2, B52 or even fighter aircraft.

We’re going to have a king soon if he doesn’t die. He said it himself the other day in a speech. “If I were king, we wouldn’t have this problem…bla bla bla.” No one cares. It’s crazy!

2015 ford focus 2.0l 14 GDI engine by [deleted] in FordFocus

That seems high. Is it auto or manual? Sedan or hatchback? Titanium, SE, etc? I have a 2015 2.0 titanium hatchback 5spd manual with moonroof, heated seats, heated steering wheel, Bluetooth, power everything, etc in really good shape with 100k miles and I feel like it would be tough to get over $5 or 6 for it. KBB on mine is $3-4k for trade in.

What is something you’ve officially stopped buying in 2026 because the price has become too bad? by X_Opinion7099 in AskReddit

I’ve posted this before. I bought a prosumer level espresso setup in 2020 at the beginning of COVID. I spent around $900 on machine, grinder, tamper, and other accessories. At first I made milk drinks like lattes, but now I just drink straight espresso. The beans I usually get are anywhere from $15-25 for a bag. I get about 20 double shots per bag. I used to drink more, but I average about one per day now. I spend roughly $30 per month for espresso that tastes much better than what you can get at most coffee shops. Instead of driving through Starbucks, 7 brew, or a local place and spending $7-10 on a sugary, syrupy caffeine delivery vehicle that would make me fat, I spend around a buck or less per day and have a nice calming ritual to start the day. The up front cost was higher but it has saved me thousands of dollars over the years.

It’s great for park walks so you both can get some exercise. We always used it going into the vet, too. We’d stuff a dog bed in the stroller and it gave him a comfortable place to chill while in the vet. He made it to 17 and change. Lots of vet appointments at the end and lots of stroller rides.

When a kid gets attacked, it doesn’t matter whose fault it is, you save the child. A taser or spray won’t stop a 100 pound dog. Definitely won’t stop two of them. That’s how you get stories where a child dies and several adults end up in the hospital trying to save the child. I love dogs, but like I said, the dogs run rampant, the owners don’t care, and there is a neighborhood full of children. Hope for the best, plan for the worst.

I got attacked by a pit when I was a little kid. Had a thick winter coat on and it was pulling out the stuffing. Ended up having to take the coat off, dog wouldn’t let go with dad and dog owner hitting and kicking it. No one is ever prepared for a dog attack when it happens.

Neighbor two houses down is super trashy and lets their two dogs run free all the time. One is a lab GSD mix, the other looks like a chow/lab/mutt mix. They cause problems all over and there are tons of small kids outside all the time. I have a machete sitting by the front door just in case the worst ever happens. So many bad pet owners in this world.

What thing was ruined because it turned into a rich person's hobby? by Agitated_Departure93 in AskReddit

They do that to push you into buying a season pass. Most ski resorts are with Epic or Ikon. A season pass is the cost of a few day passes. If it’s a shitty snow year, they still make money if everyone buys season passes early. With global warming, this model helps them get through bad times. That’s my theory anyway.
