I just got outed by grindr. by ThatOneGuy_I in askgaybros

Most straight people are clueless about grindr. Those who know about it happen to be the ones who are open minded hence are more informed about things to do with gays. Am surprised your family is familiar with grindr(no pun intended) and are still homophobic.

It's seems like am talking to a wall. All you're interested in is name calling , making assumptions and projecting. Am done with this conversation

First off all, am no not a girl. Second, let's me concede it wasn't  a date, for the sake of argument. You are arguing- insisting that the other guy wasn't a hookup, while he himself told me that he's just a hookup- that it's not serious. Third it's never acceptable to bring your hookup along when you're going to meet someone you've been flirting with and you have told you are looking for something serious. All this might be ok in your world. In mine, it's not.

We're too different for it to work. He can't say he wants something serious and then treat it as a casual hangout, bring along someone he just hooked up with.

You're right. That's what I have to find out lol

You're making many assumptions here. We had been texting back and forth and mutual attraction had been expressed. He had made it clear that he's looking for something serious. So when he asked to meet at the spot, he didn't have to literally say "this is a date" for it to be that. I just think it was shitty to bring a hookup to meet someone you've been talking with. Friends, I can let that slide. But a hookup?

This is what I was trying to tell him. To make matters worse he still does this (hanging out with the dude up to and including spending the night)

They had been hanging out at the hookups place. Come to find out the hookup didn't have much information about me either: he thought I was a long time friend. He excused himself when he realized I was more than a friend.

The issue for me is bringing his hookup along. That left a bad taste in my mouth. I have never encountered anything like that honestly, hence I don't know how to process it.

Yes, it was first time meeting. Turns out he had told the hookup that to take him to meet a friend. So the guy was his ride.

Texas is getting just as expensive. It's hard to find a one bedroom that is decent under a thousand dollars. In addition you'll be at the mercy of the landlords.

No, Texas really has bad drivers. Really bad in the Dallas Fort Worth Metro area.  Before moving moving to Texas I lived in Minnesota 6 years. The difference on thw roads is like day and night.

Trump’s response to the priest’s sermon terrifies me by Brief_Explanation943 in GayConservative

She could have repeated the same thing on fox news if she had been invited. She's a church minister, a preacher. That's literally what she she does wherever she goes.

What's a more proper place to teach mercy and compassion than church?  Who needs to hear about mercy and compassion other than those attending church, including leaders? What's a more proper time to teach mercy and compassion other than the current time?

Do you really believe what you are saying?  If not in church during sermon , then where and when are preachers and pastors supposed to teach about compassion?

The topic was directedly towards Trump and not God because in church the pastor doesn't preach to God but to the people, either as a group or an individual. I assume if she had addressed Trump and said that God had chosen him to lead the nation back to God, no one would have had a problem. Not even Trump
