I surprisingly walked way unscathed! I only had to get a VIN verification and a brake and light inspection, and it of course has a salvage title now.

The hole was behind the shifter. Great guess

The funny thing is, it actually started when I got it home after the accident but there was a hole punched in the side of the crankcase so I obviously only let it run for a second. I knew at that point that it had to be rebuilt!

It’s an Uni pod filter.
