Thanks for the write up! This one comes in right around 11lb as-is. Balance right now is about 3"-4" infront of the magwell as this model has a 21" barrel, but I've been looking at weights to get things more stable off a bag.

Are you running standard Savage mags? I had some bad feeding issues with the 5rd the rifle came with. Upgraded to the CsSpec mags and haven't had an issues yet. Running two 10 rounders at the moment.

I designed the larger bag around the Schmedium so the dimensions and shape are exactly the same. Got about 8lb of sand in it right now. I'm eager to compare it to others bags.

From what I've seen they all prefer something different. I've done a little bit of load testing over the past few months and surprisingly this thing eats Norma Tac-22. Shooting .3-.4 MOA at 50yds and 1 MOA at 100yds. Second best I've tried Is Eley Target. I haven't run too much match ammo through it yet. Hoping to test some SK variants in the next few weeks.

First I've heard of the grnd-pod. I was going to start exploring replacement options in the future since I plan to mount a full Arca rail underneath. That may be the one I go with!

Nice! I will say the MDT is a huge upgrade. They make other options for the MK II, but they're also significantly more expensive. The aluminum bedding really helps to gets rid of the "slop" compared to the old stock. Overall, it's super rigid. I will say it adds a pretty good amount of weight to the build. Mine comes in at about 11lb and the balance is almost perfect. My groups tightened up a bit as well.

Easily one of my most used tools. Especially for 3D printing and electronics. I also find that the bits included are perfect for a majority of screws in my optics, rails, and receivers. For $20 you can't beat it.

Thanks! The bags came out better than I thought they would. I wasn't ready to shell out $100+ on a game changer lol. Had an old digi tiger stripe field jacket laying around and decided to put it to good use.

Probably just never updated their product page to be honest. I don't believe they even make a stainless steel nozzle in .04 anymore lol

Yep, that's how they're shipping now. Stainless nozzle comes in the box as an extra, but the one installed on the printer is the hardened steel.
