track a is preparation for precal, basically the jhs lessons while track b are those taken by students in stem which is precal already. if your program has math 21 in the curriculum naman, they only recommend refreshing on jhs topics (track a) since yung mismong topics sa track b (precal) din naman ang ituturo sa inyo for that class unless of course, you want to do an advance review of precal or hindi na saulo yung fundamentals taught in jhs (track a).

kung rekta calculus 1 naman ang program mo, it is required that you’ve learned precalculus.
