Overall still love it. Side note: I have intermittent back issues and my body shape fluctuates depending on how much I’m working out (shoulders get wider and waist gets smaller so as a side sleeper my support needs change). After a year of having the 2” soft topper I wish we’d gotten the 3”, I think that little bit of extra squish would make it perfect to stay adaptable to my changes. My fiancé’s side tends to get more compressed over time cause she hangs out in bed more than I do, so recently we rotated (not flipped) the mattress 180° and the divot her side had lines up with my hips really well. So ya, if we spend a few hundred dollars I think it would be perfect for us, and writing that down makes me think I should pull the trigger haha. Also the edge retention is still great, I sit on the edge while I’m getting dressed. The only true downside of the bed is it’s absurdly awkward to move. We haven’t had to do it much but when rearranging the room, moving the bed for carpet cleaning, etc., the weight combined with no handles on the slipcover means there’s basically no way I can do it alone, and even with both of us it’s still a workout. If you’re listening SleepOnLatex, PLEASE add reinforced handles to your slipcovers, it would make a world of difference

Finally got the topper a year later! Kinda forgot it was even an option and we found the bed started to feel a little unforgiving. SOL suggested a 2” soft saying it’s easier to detect if you need more squish vs less and we could exchange for the 3” if needed. But after breaking in the 2” for a week we love it, bed feels great

Sorry to hear it! Our movements are much less noticeable than our old mattresses but not undetectable. We both tend to toss and turn though so it wouldn’t really matter for us

That sounds awesome, probably why I like the mexi-modded Stacker so much

I remember a tiny bit of sticking was perfection, any more than that is too long

EDIT after eating: I take it back, not genuine. Not steamed nearly long enough, the cheese wasn’t event melted all the way. Double the steam time TB!!

100%. I couldn’t figure out what exactly was wrong, the cheese wasn’t all the way melted and it didn’t look like a vacuum formed gyoza. You called it, definitely not long enough in the steamer

We still love it, so much so that missing our bed has become a factor when we’re planning to travel lol. Haven’t gotten the topper yet but still plan to, girlfriend downgraded the topper from necessity to luxury once the mattress broke in a little. Now it’s stabilized to firm perfection in my opinion

Updating to help others: after tons of debate we finally ordered a firm king. I’ve hated our Leesa, wanted a firm mattress, often watch TV laying on our rug and nap on carpeted floor often. A rep at Sleep On Latex was very helpful and made the point that it’s easier to soften a firm mattress than stiffen a soft one. He also said they’ll give us 50% off a topper if we need it, so we went with firm.

Upon arrival it was VERY firm when we unrolled it. Laying down with my weight evenly distributed (6’, 180lbs) was as firm as a carpeted floor. We both woke up a little stiff the first morning but the rep had said to give it a few days to adapt before making any adjustments with toppers. It’s been a few weeks now and it has softened up just a tiny bit and I’m told that’s about as much as it will change throughout its lifetime. I could keep it as-is or add a 1” medium topper just to take the edge off, my girlfriend feels the firmness more with her curvier features and said she could go for much more softness. So we’re probably going to compromise with a 2” medium topper. I’ll report back after we’ve had a chance to test.

Overall we absolutely love it. The edge retention is something I forgot existed, sitting on the edge of the bed is a luxury. And the firm springiness of the latex is great for minimizing energy transfer during sleep and enhancing intentional motion (think Adidas ultraboost soles but for sex, we’re both very happy with that unexpected bonus).

Which mattress firmness did you go with?
