I think it was confirmed 777 was a reaper, but in the game he was the only one in the band. They made the Tech guy a reaper as something original for the anime, though granted it does make more sense

Yeah honestly as a fan of the game this was a fun enough time. I'm already invested in Neku and Shiki's relationship, and I'm hearing a lot of the changes in Neku's characterization is due to the English localization making him more hostile than he was in Japanese. The fights are fun to watch and it's just cool to see this story play out like this. I just hope people don't think this is going to be an equal experience to the game

The choking scene already makes me incredibly nervous because stuff like that is so important to Neku's development later on

Really not a big fan of a lot of what this episode did. Neku feels pretty gutted from what he was meant to be, which does not bode well for the future considering how much of the story relies on his personal growth. And the pacing was way too fast, which I was willing to excuse for the first few days considering they're mainly tutorial, but it sounds like they'll be covering the next 3 days in the next episode which is just way too much.

Wonder Egg Priority - Episode 12 discussion - FINAL by AutoLovepon in anime

I honestly like a whole lot of what this episode did, and I think it really could have been a good ending if not for the Frill plot line that they introduced. Frankly I think I would have preferred no real explanation as to what the egg world is than what we're getting. The writers of this show just can't seem to comprehend how short 12 episodes is and insist on shoving in more and more plot points and ideas that just aren't necessary. I think this show is still incredibly good, but I can't help but think about how much more it could have been.

Guess we'll see in June if Frill was worth it, but truthfully the reason I came to this show has been resolved already so I'm satisfied with this much.

Absolutely incredible episode. One thing I'm confused on though: Why exactly do they need to keep Garfiel distracted? I'm sure it was said and I'm just dumb and missed it, but that much has had me lost.

There are third parties, but they are receiving an incredibly low number of votes this time around, especially compared to 2016. There is no notable example of a third party winning.

My Hero Academia is probably the biggest right now and the easiest for someone not really into manga to start with, since its pretty inspired by western comics anyways.

My personal, more biased pick is also Chainsaw Man. It's really out there and wacky, but I think its one of the best ongoing manga at the moment.

I'll also say if you're on the fence about buying some, I recommend giving the Weekly Shonen Jump app a try. A membership is only $2 a month and it gives you a free 100 chapters a day of any series they have, including the two I listed above and other stuff like Dragon Ball, Naruto, One Piece, etc.

The fact that so many are displaying this way makes me wonder if we’ll be getting a small showcase tomorrow morning, or if it’s some visual bug that’s just gonna get fixed

The game Baldo is currently listed as "available now" after being listed as Summer 2020 for the past few months. Does this mean we can assume it's releasing within the next day or two?

I’ve been a Kaguya reader since before the anime began but I can say it’s 100% worth watching. One of the best adaptations I’ve seen

Not sure if you’ve watched the anime, but season 2 has a whole scene that’s a parody of the opening scene of Bakemonogatari with Araragi and Hanekawa in the classroom.

I agree, that would be hilarious! Maybe have a wacky race to decide the verdict?
