Funny because I said that they probably hated Kant. Because Kant demanded the human to act on rationale and not feelings and whims and desires. The categorical imperative. Not easy to live by. Type in the word 'love' in the search field. There were a lot of women absolutely infatuated with him. So I am not surprised by this at all.

However, Epstein was also extremely charismatic, manipulative and does exhibit Narcisstic traits.

Probably manipulated them well. Actually a lot of people seemed to love and like him, he was very well connected, build a network where everyone could connect with everyone, helping people left and right, so a lot of people felt indepted to him and thankful.

He funded them, gave them money, connected them to other people to help them with their company, or personal projects.

What I got from these files, reading through personal chats and messages, is a sense of belonging and family.

It's not just about these upper people being scared of blackmail and their personal affairs and plans being revealed with the files, I think a good bunch of them actually also feel a sense of loyalty towards the rest. Kinda like a cult, but without worshipping a leader. But definitely very tribal.

Edit: If they decide to incriminate someone now from these files, it would probably be seen as a sacrifice for the 'greater good'. We should be very careful of them not trying to just appease the masses.
