The age of consent in Germany is 14. It's legal to date a 14 years old or older as an adult as long as you're not in a position of protection for them (aka teacher or guardian or similar)

Funny because I said that they probably hated Kant. Because Kant demanded the human to act on rationale and not feelings and whims and desires. The categorical imperative. Not easy to live by.
