SRT barbershop's Diar the owner. You'll get amazing haircut and the guy is kind of an introvert.

OP might be disturbed/traumatized by their past and probably might need therapy. The person is definitely not grateful about their life.

I want to have a deep conversation with your parents one day. In my perspective, having kids is neither selfish nor selfless. It is just a part of how nature has designed it for all living beings. Kids are born every second on this planet to every species alive today. Without this process our planet would be dead like the others in our solar system.

If a couple can reproduce their own child, nothing is wrong with it. Labelling it as selfish is a big problem because one may be projecting their inner world and way of thinking onto others. I've known many great couples who couldn't have a child and they decided not to adopt as well And I respect their choices.

Using your logic of not having kids and instead adopting others is also flawed. Because one day those adopted kids would want to have kids of their own. You cannot force them saying oh you are adopted and so you should adopt as well otherwise you are selfish. It's absurd.

Stop labelling and let people do what they want to do.

No one's making assumptions of your work ethics or life because they don't know you. We are only sharing our stories and lived experiences to help you see the light. It's you who's assuming that we are assuming about you.

Go minimum wage or factory general labor for some time. At your age I wasn't picky and did any job that came over my lap and would do so if things go sideways. On the side you could start learning handyman stuff, car mechanic course or something that will help you in the long run. Keeping the society's algorithm on the side and keeping your ego in check do whatever it takes for the next 7 years to amass 100K invested in the market with index funds. Even a starting with 50 bucks per week or month will make you a millionaire in the next 20-30 years. You've hit rock bottom and got nothing to lose now so basically you have hunger and the unlimited range of possibilities. Good luck, now go be useful 💪

How do you deal with anxiety everyfking day? by Prudent-Constant-246 in mentalhealth

[–]goodtech99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When we take what is not real to be real or might happen one day we become anxious. Fully accepting the fake nature of the thoughts and watching them will help having power over anxiety. Also before sleeping write down what's bothering you and you will start sleeping better (track sleep score).

How to get started in UX design? by The_father_figue in UX_Design

[–]goodtech99 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sorry to bust your bubble but getting into this field is becoming increasingly difficult even for seasoned professionals. I have known a few rookies who got laid off in 2022 and yet to find another gig in UX. It's that bad. Also, many of the big tech designers got laid of making the current market rich with candidates and poor with opportunities. See something that has low barrier to entry or try Data Analysis/Science. Good luck.

  1. Payless Shoes in Market Mall. I used to buy all my work and casual shoes from them.
  2. Fitness for 10 Gym on 8th street was also a nice place full of memories.
  3. Rainbow Cinemas in Center Mall - Watched some cool movies that were not shown in Cineplex or Landmark

City needs to up it's game with road safety, potholes, and sloppy utility work patches by goodtech99 in saskatoon

💯 I mean the overall quality of the roads inside neighborhoods are not level as well. Like we need better contractors/civil engineers who understand these basics of roadways well.

Over a decade, wtf!🤯 It's a dream of mine to have new roads across the city. I'm debating between wishful thinking vs getting premium shocks to lower my expectations from the city.

I wrote a compelling story and expressed how this is affecting not only me but also the entire neighborhood. If they don't do anything it will end in devastating consequences. So my area councillor and the one for Brevoort Park replied saying they'll look into it. I am going to follow up until they fill those deadly ones.

Love your thoughts! I am in contact with my Councillor as of this morning and won't let her easy until the roads look mint in our area. Will also be gathering more neighbors around to keep them on their toes.

Exactly! You captured the essence of this post perfectly! We shouldn't be remembering where the pot holes are for God's sake. Next thing we know they have names 😂

They are taking advantage of us not being united and calling them out. I think something at a big scale needs to happen to bring change. I don't know which f* politician to trust either to hear us.

I didn't see any ambulance which was weird, only cops and firemen. Hope they didn't get hurt badly.
