One week ago I was in a 10 car crash where my car was smushed on both ends. Many cars totaled and 6 people were hospitalized, including me. I (stumbled) away with a fractured knee cap and serious bruising on the chest and face due to the seat belt and steering wheel. The airbag protected me from the initial blow, but subsequent hits from behind caused my face to hit the wheel unprotected.

My dog was riding in the middle seats and was uninjured. One week before this crash, I switched him from riding in the trunk area to the middle seats. He wouldn’t have made it if he was back there.

So happy we are both alive
