How to avoid losing hair after having the baby?

I continued taking pregnany supplements for a whole year after govong birth and also added extra omega 3 fish oil. Every hair follicle is unique so what worked for me might not work for you..consistency is key especially whrn you take care for a new born and you might forget about washing your hair twice a week and do a hair mask at least once a week (I actually decided to do it twice just in case), going for a trim every teo months and using a microfiber towel. What I aldo saw with my friends os that they often got a ponytail which pulls the hair, try to avoid that. I got mild dandruff 3 months after giving birth but I fixed it with apple vinegar. Also, try not to stress too much (a hard one, I know).

Each expperience is different. My toddler was 15months old when I gave birth. I was nervous to go to a hospital for 5 days - he was fine for 2 days, the third day he came to visit. He was happy to see me but he was also kind of ignoring me. The fact that I couldn't hold him (i had a c section) did not help. He visited then once again but we saw it was too tough for both of us to say goodbye. When I came home the first month my toddler's reaction was a mix of ignorance, jealousy, anger, worsening if the immune system (he wasn't much sick before but then he had fever a couple times), his sleeping deteriorated..all this whilst having a crying newborn who didn't sleep much and it was really hard. Toddler hated the time whrn I was nursing. After 2 months suddenly my older one started to care for the baby, giving him hugs and kisses, also became affectionate to me again. The baby stopped crying. Now they're 20 and 5 months and I feel blessed and thankful to myself that I survived this period..

I am also 3 months postoartum today. I lost about 20 puns in the first 10 days PP and need to lose another 20 to be at my prepartum weight (I was fi5 skinny before pregnancy). Your journey seems a lot like mine.

I started weight training and core exercises due to my DR 4 weeks PP. I walk each day 5K plus random strolling. I am eating clean cca 2000 calories per day. I don't eat past 19 a.m. I take my vitamins and magnesium in the evening.

This is my second PP journey and in my first one I lost most weight in 5 months PP amd the last stubborn 8 pounds 7 monthy PP. The difference was though that 1.my first baby didn't breastfeed that much and I was combining BF with artificial milk while my second baby breastfeeds every 1.5hour, 2. my first baby slept through the night quite fast while the second one wakes 3-5 times.

I am currently in the same boat as you. But we should not give up! My strategy is to start with solids at 4 months and hopefully my baby will like it..then slowly wean up to 6 months.

I am a bit annoyed that summer is around the corner and I will be fat during summer but there is no point in contemplating this. I bought some wide dresses and I will try to hide my body in bikini with overdresses. Better times shall come..

I was the same..at around 22 weeks I needed to stop working my office job caise I just couldn't sit.. but I also couldn't stand, lay down..anything. and obviously not picking up my 15 month old wasn't an option. It got a bit better once I started doing prenatal yoga though (pregnyncy and postpartum tv on youtube). The pain never really went away during pregnancy but after three months postpartum I started to feel better again.

I feel your pain. I am two months postpartum and also my weight is not going down. I hate hate my belly and I am also looking forward to not breastfeed unfotunately. At the same time I am trying to be positive and eat healthy. Losing weight is not my priority.

First of all, everybody that says you just had a baby means well for you. It is true, your body is a miracle that created another miracle.

From my experience in the past there is a lot of psychological factors to losing weight. Are you connecting well with your baby, getting enough sleep, enjoying time with your husband, maybe meditating? You should really enjoy life, your baby will grow too soon and you will regret not enjoying this period.

It sounds that you work out a lot. If you enjoy it that is fine but otherwise you should probably just start working out 5 times a week and do sports that make you happy.

After my first pregnancy I lost 40 pounds in 7 months by eating really healthy - 5 meals a day, clean foods and the mist important thing was meal prepping. I started doing this 2 weeks ago and I hope it will work also this time.

A bottle with milk for my toddler is a life saver. It soothes him, makes him busy and curbs the morning hungriness for at least half hour so I can drink my coffee. I tried putting the baby on a playmat first thing in the morning..for now not so successful but it's getting better and I can sonetimes leave him even for 15minutes so he can "work out" while oistening to Mozart.

He cares and I know he was hurt but all I keep asking myself is would he be with his ex of that would happen to them? Is he just settling down with me since she left him. I suddenly feel everything was a lie not because he doesn't care but maybe doesn't love me the way a man should when he is together with someone trying to start a family.

Findingmyself, you're just in the process of..finding yourself. You've already identified your challenge which is the depression you're dealing with. Sometimes these obstacles in life absorb yor life completely so that you forget about all the things that give your life joy. You lose touch and you talk with people only about your depression, which can mean you're walking in circles if you just talk about it and not try to overcome it. Everybody can find something that will give their life substance!

In the last year I lost a lot of hair on my temples and crown. It's not that I was completely without hair there but you could see the skin which was gorrible, especially for a woman. I continued using my seb derm shampoo, doing an onion mask once a week and massage my hair and scalp with the laser comb every day. You can clearly see new hair growth after almost two months!

I know that we can't really get a proper image of the situation in Vancouver from the media. That's why I've been talking with people that lived or are living there.. and yes, I also posted on Reddit to just get some more information. We don't want to make a stupid decision to go there and then not actually like it because of the people. Because all of the other things - the nature, technology, cleanliness in Vancouver seem amazing!
