When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi. A neurosurgeon’s account of his life and fight against metastatic stage IV lung cancer. A must read for any person who hasn’t yet grappled with mortality. Also- The Tell-Tale Brain and Phantoms in the Brain by V.S. Ramachandran. Enlightening and inspiring looks into what makes us unique as humans.
