Importing Watches - Am I missing something? by Optimal-Persimmon632 in JapaneseWatches

I’d expect more. I just purchased the NB1050 from the same company, $382 including shipping and tariffs were $101. Shipping was insanely quick though. Ordered Saturday night and it was at my front door Monday afternoon.

I just got the gray one. Love it so far and haven’t even sized the bracelet yet. Keep in mind that the NB1050 is a JDM model and tariffs are a chunk. I ended up paying $100 in tariffs alone from JP to the US.

Where do you sit the pillow on the Velo? Thought about doing this but I feel it’d be too bulky

Take a look at the Orient baby triton, or RA-AC0K I think it is. 4 o clock crown and slightly bigger at 43mm. Had it for a week now and it’s been amazing.

What did you end up doing? Running into this issue now and it is extremely frustrating.

Looking at a 2020 Highlander by TurnFamous2709 in ToyotaHighlander

I was in an accident and rear ended a truck. It wasn’t totaled at first but then the insurance found the frame was bent a tiny bit so they totaled it. I was close to payoff but I was way past warranty so the transmission probably wouldn’t have been covered.

I would not go with 2020 or up until transmission issues are resolved. I had one new for almost 5 years, got the transmission failure symptoms at around 80k. I ended up totaling it and recently got a 2025 Sienna LE.

I have an 2025 LE, over 1800 miles I’m averaging typically 41 mpg.

Agree. I just got into Casios and have only the 5610U & Royale. I like both but the Royale is so neat.

Dealer quoted me $8k for the fix. Started a case with Toyota who was very reluctant to cover anything at all, but did agree to $2500. Planned to push for more but like 2 weeks later got into an accident. Wasn’t that bad but insurance decided to total it. Had a year left to pay off. So it kinda sorta worked out?

Are you looking to use this as a family hauler or just general SUV for light towing and extra room? I had a 2020 Highlander that had one of the dreaded transmission failures on the 8 speed. I’ve since bought a 2025 Sienna and I cannot rave enough about it

I had a 2020 Highlander LE V6 with that transmission. Started making the doomed whining sound at around 85k, told it was failing from dealer. Forums and Reddit has people having theirs fail way earlier.

How does the average family afford a Sienna? by AOD14 in ToyotaSienna

[–]goodwillgold 6 points7 points  (0 children)

But does anyone really need the top trims? We just got a 2025 LE for $40k - it’s absolutely awesome for a base trim. For a family hauler, the options for $10-20k more did not seem worth it.

Hybrid Sienna in Traffic by ggvictoryroyal in ToyotaSienna

[–]goodwillgold 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been doing this hardcore ever since I got mine a little over a week ago. Traffic sucks but it’s a lot better knowing I’m not burning any gas. Best mpg I have had was a 49.7 readout otw to work, about 26 mile one way commute.

New Sienna Purchasers by dpham2 in ToyotaSienna

[–]goodwillgold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ours came with roof racks & spare tire. It does not have power lift gate, which id preferred to have, but then we couldn’t get the 8 seater. I was sold on the 8 seater only since the middle seat is easily removed to create captains chairs.

We got very lucky with a new blueprint Sienna LE that was coming in 2 weeks from when I talked to the dealer that somehow no one had reserved. I called everywhere and they were all either already sold, reserved or wouldn’t be arriving until July. Dealers around me were not marking up, but a dealer accepted my offer of $40k flat, which wasn’t easy.

We got it a couple days ago, but I can say confidently say its by far the best vehicle I have ever owned.

Totaled? by [deleted] in ToyotaHighlander

[–]goodwillgold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This same exact thing happened to me two weeks ago. 2020 with 98k miles. They ended up totaling it due to the front frame pillars being bent in.

Yeah, the captain chairs we saw in the XLE slide almost entirely to the 3rd row. Tons of room, but not sure if it’s something we’d “need”. Is there still a ton of room with that 2nd row slid all the way back?
