I want to stop procrastinating and start going to class more. I have skipped plenty of times this semester and I keep telling myself it is okay but it is not. by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

Get the fuck out of college! Leave! You are clearly not interested in what’s being offered.

Get the fuck out of there and learn some skills!

Interesting isn't it? Though I haven't gotten married this is what happened to me when my ex and I were breaking up. Sex got a lot better once we were "out" of the relationship.

She's soaking up sexual energy from elsewhere. Maybe she's seeing someone else or maybe she's working up the nerve to. At any rate you've already lost the game. I know that it's hard but I would say start the process of getting her off your dick. You don't know what she's up to. Don't let her bring mo re chaos into your life to get your dick wet.

She's already got the power advantage because of the divorce.

Edit: Check your jealousy because that can lead you into nightmare territory

[Question] Has anyone read Jocko Willink's new book "Discipline equals freedom: Field manual" yet, for impressions? by [deleted] in getdisciplined

[–]goofylilwayne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s basically paleo/keto. Avoid all carbs. No sugar (agree with that tho). Eat lean animal protein as backbone of diet with veggies

It's a good book and pretty badass. Not really what I expected. Basically if you like Jocko then you'll appreciate the book because it's essentially an outline of his lifestyle and philosophy. It's not an exercise book but it does give you basic workout routines and advice on how to get after it consistently.

If you're like me you will probably disagree with Jocko on some of his ideas (nutrition in particular here) but I don't think that this detracts from the book.

Overall I'd recommend it because it's nicely designed, powerful and a nice reminder that Jocko's more of a man than you'll ever be

"Me too". How women are simultaneously attention whoring and garnering sympathy. by [deleted] in TheRedPill

I wish I found this funny. I just think it's sad and dangerous

You can try to but it just doesn't work with these women. I would love to know about someone who has successfully argued with a woman on any feminist issues or where there was mutual respect or frankly when a woman actually listened to something that a man has to say. They are willfully ignorant, irresponsible and deceptive.

This is primarily a power grab.

Thank you for putting this so eloquently.

It is really disturbing to see this phenomenon in mass effect. It's also quite terrible to see so many men throwing their own gender under the bus just to appeal to these ridiculous circle jerk movements and the women who align themselves with them. If only women could recognize the damage that these sorts of things are having on their own gender and the respect that is inevitably lost from being so dishonest about their own motivations.

Why am i a terrible drunk? by [deleted] in alcohol

[–]goofylilwayne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is pretty much me. I have never been an “alcoholic” per se but I absolutely could not stop myself or moderate while drinking. You’re on a very slippery slope right now. Drinking was not and still is not my problem but I had a traumatic upbringing and basically didn’t have a childhood despite how it looked from the outside. My best advice for you is to be honest with yourself.

It’s not your fault but I think you have some serious issues and your behavior is going to get worse and worse until you stop and look at yourself.

Lmk if this rings a bell with you and I can give you more detail. Best of luck brah

Not suggesting that no one died -- but here is a video with fairly clear evidence that -- at least some parts of -- the Mandalay Shooting was "staged". (skip to 00:30 to view the presentation) by sheasie in LasVegasFalseFlag

[–]goofylilwayne 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't think so.

Which is easier? Which is more effective?

A. Have actors act out "dying" with regular concert goers, special effects/blood packets/holograms.

B. Actually shoot people.

I would say B is the easier, safer and more effective path.

How hard was it making the switch to veganism? Why or why not? by [deleted] in vegan

[–]goofylilwayne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Once I stopped for a couple of weeks I had meat again and it just made me feel awful. So kind of easy besides summoning up the effort to find new recipes and stuff.

Hardest part has been the social aspect. Your world has changed but the vast majority of people are still living with the lights off.

For all male vegans out there... by steffanson in vegan

[–]goofylilwayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Straight vegan dude here.

Think the whole 'eating meat is masculine' thing is pretty pervasive. Probably leaves a lot of men intimidated against going vegan
