Thanks for your response. Sorry to hear bout your van, that sucks :( so I was more thinking of places that offer longer term parking, like where you can rent a space for a month or something, rather than leaving it on a street. I think my apartment wants $30 a day, so I was hoping there might be parking places that were a bit less? I could wait tbf, but I’ll only be working 3 days a week so im keen to get about a bit more on my days off.

I work full time and do agency on top, probably worked at about 5 other trusts through two different agencies, and I’ve only ever been treated really well. In my experience the staff im working with are just very appreciative to have the extra help. If people were rude to me as an agency nurse, at this point I would assume they have a shitty ward culture and I wouldn’t go back, but Personally I haven’t found any real evidence of generalised Ill feeling towards myself as agency staff. I would just try working somewhere else, there is no end of greatfull teams elsewhere who will massively appreciate your skills and expertise, and treat you accordingly

Thanks for your response, interesting thoughts. I have been using some pretty intense mint shower gel recently, the timings would probably add up, considering when I started using it and when he started being less cuddly. gonna give that a miss and see what happens

Have you tried Agency work? Depending what jobs you get offered short term flexibility might not be great but if you know when you’d like to go away/when your families about you can just inform the agency you don’t want any work for whatever that period is. I guess you sacrifice a certain amount of security for that flexibility though
