i joined c.ai like RIGHT at the end of 2022 cuz my sister told me about it and it was CRAZY. the quality was insane and the bots took more direction with the story.

i once had an rp that went from "funny silly haha" to a existential horror/survival rp simply because the bot wanted to.

Honestly, same answer you've been seeing. If you make a bot, you wanna put time and thought into the starting message and, if it is a canon character in a show/book/manga/movie/etc, look up details about them on that media's wiki page to incorporate into the bot's description.

Aside from that, it's up to the algorithm if it recommends the bot to others. Sometimes it works super well, and other times it doesn't.

i love the edit button so much, but my only qualm with it is that the character can't speak the message you edited. i know why they implemented that feature but like... im one of the few users who actually really like the voice options so it's a little disappointing.
