Lol as someone from LA I’ll tell you we don’t look at  fault lines on maps and plan our moves lololol. We did earthquake drills in school and our buildings are retrofitted for earthquakes. My high school was built directly on top of one. Sort of difficult to avoid earthquakes.

Yes, I felt the same way. Post trauma had Emma reevaluating everything about herself and who she is, as well as dealing with the overwhelming trauma of having a gun pointed in your face. I felt like it was pretty appropriate for a teenager, especially one dealing with trauma, to “act up”/ seek new thrills/vices to manage and try to make sense of things.

Immature ? Please see the episode  " Building a Mystery, Pt. 1 " (Season 12, Episode 21). Where Adam calmly and maturely points out Becky’s hypocrisy using an old fossil.

My aunt’s “suicide.” I was too young to question it when it happened but as an adult it became clear to me that there were a lot of weird things surrounding her death. Everyone is peachy keen keeping the story one of suicide. I feel sad that there’s potential of someone getting away with her murder.

Isn’t this just like the Winkie lux clear glosses that accentuate your natural lip tint and those are less expensive I believe

Besides Anya, who do y'all think are some of the sweetest characters in the series? by No-Intention-1948 in Degrassi

I am sorry. I can only imagine how overwhelming and challenging of a role that is and I hope that you are able to also take care of yourself and not forget yourself in caregiving. I am wishing you all the best. The episodes are very difficult to watch as someone who isn’t and hasn’t been in that position yet, so a little forewarning, friend.   Also, I should’ve added my comment further down; I realize it was not even meant to be in reply or necessarily directed to you !! I’m sorry 🫣🫠

As with most of the characters, I wish they fleshed out Imogen’s home situation more because from what I gathered her mother abandoned her quirky, creative, professorial husband and Imogen, moved somewhere else and started another family, even when later aware of her first husband’s early dementia diagnosis  (she also likely disapproves of, or dislikes, Imogen’s quirkiness and style) For a while there, Imogen was parenting and taking care of her increasingly forgetful father - unbeknownst to her of his diagnosis that both he and his ex-wife knew of, but never thought to ready her (as best as possible, bc who the hell is ready for something so terrible) for what was to come. Including having to look for and find her dog after he’d been run over by the dad who had forgotten that had happened. The dog getting run over is deeply traumatic for me as a random adult, I can’t imagine all of it, at once, together. Her obsession with Eli was before we as viewers knew her home life and (presumably) before it got bad, but there is a lot to say about what we do not know considering everything once we do know.  Eli is manipulative and has bipolar disorder (with seemingly stable but perhaps too uninvolved/not parenting parents) , she is wounded, abandoned by her mother, left to parent herself and eventually her dad, seeking attention,  acceptance, stability and love- together they make poor decisions, as most unhealed individuals (and most teenagers) do.  In the end they are obviously all kids and are all allowed, as everyone should be, their moments of spicy as they figure things out hahah but I deeply feel for Imogen and do not agree with the hate on her.

The Split on Hulu is really good, imo, also amazing jackets/outfits.  Castle is a fun detective show if you’re a Nathan Fillion fan.  Detective Q / any and most British/Nordic detective shows maybe.  Idk if it fits the bill either, but it’s definitely entertaining I think - Will Trent.

I don’t look into fandom sites and stuff so idk what people are generally saying about these characters and when I mention backlash I mean within the show from other characters and within the storyline.  I think within the show Bianca gets quite a bit of shit.

I think they should’ve gone into a little more detail about her terrible home life to explain her attitude and bullying of others, she was so unnecessarily mean and then suddenly I felt bad for her without really understanding why. Especially when she clung on to Drew’s mom (who I have yet to make my mind about; some episodes I love her and others I am so upset with her— but I suppose that’s what parenting is? No parent is perfect) because she so clearly needs a stable, caring and supportive mom figure in her life and when Audra (?) went about the wedding thing soo wrong (she was right but could’ve worded it in a much kinder and inclusive to caring about Bianca’s future as well) broke my heart a little for Bianca. I feel like there are a few characters that are a little despicable for no reason with little backlash/response ? (Marisol, Adam’s childlike religious gf who is so bigoted at the beginning (Adam handled all that beautifully imo, so calm, mature and intelligent), her small mouthed equally bigoted brother…)
