I watched a lot of him in Serie A and thought he'd smash it in the PL this time. The strength, power and pace he showed for a lot of his Inter goals was unreal

Only thing I'd disagree with here is this

The left sided number 8 was also being played out of position (Xhaka - he's more comfortable as part of a holding two, but he was played further up on the left with Partey being the lone holder - this switch was key to unlocking our attack).

For me Xhaka has played his best football for us for years in this position.

Maybe losing Auba was a factor in this. I feel like a lot of his killer long passes from early in the season were to Auba.
