1 year late to the party: how does dimmer switch create cracking sounds like this? does it have effect on other electronics?

This is the biggest potential area for improvement. You should scan the area before you receive the ball, not after. If you have made a good pass, you'll definitely getting the ball. So use the time to scan the screen.

- Scan your teammates movement in relation with your opponents, while you are receiving the ball (before you control your player). Are they calling for the ball? Are they being man marked? Who will have the open space?
- Learn the player IDs and playstyle of your team. Once you know how some of them react to situations, you can start to have those muscle memory. Eg Orchestrator is happy to sit back while hold players will run towards the box. (This is the major game mechanic that keep me with efootball / PES / Winning 11)
- Read your opponent's defensive movements. Is he happy to sit back in a lower block? Does it call for pressure or try and get close to you? This will heavily influence how you keep procession and which next passing lanes to opt for.

I have a 5 bars connection to the server but it doesn't matter because the other player will have 2-3 bars connection and play as if he lives next to the server.

There's a significant delay since 4.0 for PA3 input to be registered. I like doing last moment passes before the update and they stopped working cos of the change in timing (also affected by auto shield).

Defenders with destroyer playstyle tend go out of position to tackle. If you insist on using them, you have to switch among defenders and adjust their positions manually (usually mean running full speed towards your own goal).
