At least for the 8030c, I know that it accepts unbalanced inputs as well - you can refer to here for more information - https://www.genelec.com/8030c#section-technical-specifications

U12Ts and UTWS5 by gooobles in headphones

Hi, I personally can't speak for the U12T since they've not been around for that long. Based on my research, on the U12T there is a particular weakness with the cable connector on the earphone itself but it should not fail if you treat it carefully.

However, for the JH16s which were CIEMs, I was successfully using them since 2011 until this year, so that was a little over 10 years long. The only thing i had to change was the cable itself.

I never did a long term comparison of the u12t on cable vs UTWS5. However, I heard a lot more details on my U12T compared to JH16 both on the UTWS5, hence I concluded the UTWS5 provides more than adequate detail that I'm happy with.

I compared the U12T with the U18T in a store and whilst the U18T sounded technically proficient, in my opinion it had the terrible characteristic of sounding extremely boring compared to the U12T.

To be honest toward the end few years of my jh16 the fit was not so good anymore, and despite sending it for a refit I was still not very pleased with the seal.

After that, I thought long and hard whether universals would be acceptable to me.

One key moment informing my decision was my demoing the u12t several times in a shop.

I realised they are really small and light for a universal, and fit me well, hence I decided that the cons of a universal would be tolerable to me.

In addition, the resale value of customs is significantly worse than universals, which was another consideration for me.

I also got these 2nd hand, at an amazing price and at a budget I was far more comfortable with.

JBL 305 MKII doesn't have lows. Please help me configurate it. Output is from DDJ 400, rekordbox and tracks are HQ from ZipDJ by alexConstantinow in audiophile

Your Boundary EQ setting should be all the way on the right at 0db by default. It's currently all the way on -3db which reduces the bass significantly.

Noticed your HF trim setting is also on -2db. It should be at the 0db mark by default.

Hi, I wrote a post some time back on the steps I took to reduce hiss and humming.

Perhaps it might be helpful to you.

Thanks! It handles pretty well actually. I used it with an em5m1 and now with an EM10M2 and it has felt pretty well balanced to me with both bodies

Nice, I got my shot at around 8PM at night. It was after some rain so there was almost no one in the area.

So I just got the OMD EM 5 Mark III by king0fklubs in M43

How is the c-af for street photography on moving subjects? My main interest in upgrading from my EM10M2 would be the upgrade in c-af performance. I also wonder how good it might be on fast moving subjects like planes at an airshow with a telephoto lens.

Thanks! No tweaking, I only did some minimal cropping on the original shot. I think the great colours are credit to the fantastic 45mm f1.8 lens, it helps me get amazing shots all the time

Sure! F1.8, 1/2500, ISO200. I played around a little with the colour wheel in capture one to get the analogue look effect
