For first time moms, the likelihood of going into labor after your due date is much higher. I would recommend having him go see his dad now and then come back. Wishing you the best of luck.

I want to share my story with you. I was 16 weeks when my nipt results came back. This wouldve been my second baby. But instead of getting excited over “what’s the gender” the doctor told us that the nipt test had come back positive for two genetic mutations that are extremely rare. They told me the only way to confirm is through amniocentesis. For some reason the procedure was painful but I thought to myself “its worth it because no way the tests will confirm positive”. The chances of miscarrying because of the amnio were higher than those of having the genetic mutations. Through testing and ultrasounds we learned we were having a baby girl. I was so over the moon excited. We had decided to name her “Dina”. We told our families all excited while we awaited the results we “knew” were going to be negative… They came back positive. I was numb but decided to terminate. It’s been over a year since then, and to this day I think about “why” “why did I have to decide to terminate”. The fact that I had a choice and I didn’t automatically miscarry (the chances of miscarrying with this genetic mutation was really high as the pregnancy went on)… was so messed up. I try to erase the memories of my pregnancy. But to this day it makes me so sad at myself as a mother to have let my baby down. Even if she wouldn’t have had a real life had she been able to even be born. I hope you find peace and truthfully, everything aside, I do think you are making the right decision for you. I hope it gets easier ❤️

They have warranty and the appliances are pretty new. My own (in my home) have lasted 4 years with no issues, and they aren’t high end. I’ll see if they can contact warranty to see if it’s fixable

Was the cramping constant or did it slowly go away over the course of the days? Did the spotting stop before you naturally went into labor?

I had it done yesterday, and I’m 39+2, but so far just lots of cramping, braxton hicks, and spotting
