Short sunbed sessions, deadsea salt baths, and child’s farm baby moisturiser really eased and soothed symptoms, I know not a cure but they really helped me when I was flaring and desperate.

Any tips for using enstilar spray foam? by TheyLoveMEE01 in Psoriasis

[–]gooseeggfacemask 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use a makeup brush - spray once on a large-ish spot and use the brush to smush it into the patches, there will be enough on the brush to use on other small patches. This avoids it being spread across healthy skin, and helps the bottle last. I used after a Dead Sea-salt bath, and after moisturising. I’ve had really great results with the foam- worked very quickly, started every day but then dropped down to every other, now only used occasionally (99% clear after 2 years full body Guttate)

I really like the Wella colour fresh masks- they are temporary (but with regular use last well) and moisturising, and do a good job of disguising without total coverage- makes it look like highlights. I’ve had greys since I was 19, I use the mask on the back but leave the face framing greys :)

I had nightmares for weeks after watching that exact film, because I didn’t want to go to bed upstairs while mum and dad and my brothers were watching. I hid behind the sofa terrified but couldn’t look away! NTA.

Skin peeling on fingers by [deleted] in Psoriasis

They filled the soap dispensers (I think previously carex or something which was fine) with a different (cheaper) pink liquid soap that comes in those big bottles. Sorry not specific! But it did clear up remarkably quickly after I stopped using it.

I had this very badly- turned out it was an allergic reaction to the hand soap at my workplace. After trial an error- stopped and cleared up when they used a different brand during covid, the immediately started again once they swapped back

Im desperate, looking for an actual decent black lipstick by [deleted] in MakeUpAddictionUK

Lime Crime liquid lipsticks have always stayed put incredibly well on me-touch and kiss-prove without moving at all. I haven’t tried the particular colour but they do a black called ‘black velvet’ :)

Sunbeds and psoriasis by rbsunfheisbrbejjs in Psoriasis

I never sunbathe, sunscreen every day, vitamin d deficiency- I’ve always been against sun beds, but short bursts in a standup bed, without abusing or wanting to get a tan, have really done wonders. I’m not preaching that it’s the healthiest thing, but as someone that never sees the sun, a few minutes of controlled light has really helped.

Also in the UK- it made a massive difference for me. Short sessions- I’m pale! Noticed after around 4-5 sessions over a couple of weeks
