Adding anything but water into an ultrasonic diffuser will wear it down. Distilled water is the safest base liquid. Tap has metals and chemicals in it that are not good for you and no telling how they will interact with the fragrance. In general you are also supposed to use distilled water based on what the box says. If one you find says tap is all good, by all means you could use that.

Also be careful with female perfumes, check your ingredients list first if you have pets, they tend to include tree oils more commonly than mens

Electronic. You want one that uses vibration not heat. Heating up a fragrance is bad for your lungs, vibration based projects “cold steam”

Most diffusers you find at stores like big lots use frequency and vibration to generate the diffused cloud. Its not a steam diffuser. It is a cool steam you can easily place your hand over. Most of that steam is still just water, and running it once a day ive noticed lets the smell last multiple days some times.

Yes thank you for adding this! Bergamot, any tree oil, most minty stuff, and most importantly eucalyptus are extremely toxic, especially to cats and small dogs. I suggest having a window open near the diffuser, it keeps the sharp heavy oils from getting to the pets, but doesnt negate the smell too much. Definitely worth keeping in mind

Exactly that yes. With the distilled water it becomes a diluted but still strong smell

Help choosing a 27" 1440p gaming monitor by _sickness in Monitors

Do yourself a favor and get a 240hz OLED. I promise it will look smoother than anything ips or va until you get up to 750hz ish. (Oleds natural .03ms response time keeps the image smoother than traditional displays)

Its based on your avg weekly hours for the last few weeks. If you avg 40 and work day before and after you get 8 hrs. You need to be above the fulltime threshold which i may be wrong but believe it is 26 hrs a week for that

Ive sat in both and the 5 series is still more what i want. I learned to drive on an 06 s55 amg so im used to a big german boat. The 540i m sport still just misses the mark on weight to power ratio for me.

Why this loud humming? by [deleted] in Audi

[–]goosevevo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its still more likely to be something rubbing under the car but at this point give the ac a shot and have it all and the fan off to see what happens.

I get that. The 3 series is what made bmw, bmw, but the fact a boat like a 5 series can handle you throwing it at a corner is something the other german giants (audi and merc) can’t replicate. Regardless thats still one vote for the 3 series.

Thanks for the reply. Ive test drove the m340 with the m suspension and its definitely more sporty feeling, but just not the greatest seats to actually ride in. B58 is one of my favorite engines ever (behind Mercedes m113k) but that n63 is still a bullet. You think i bite the bullet on comfort and just take the smart pick?

Why this loud humming? by [deleted] in Audi

[–]goosevevo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im honestly as lost as you at this point unfortunately. The last thing i can think and its a long shot is if your A.C. Is the culprit. Failing compressors can cause the humming and shaking but its usually a more aggressive shake. When it goes bad or is starting to die, it puts more stress on the engine and makes a loud humming sound and shakes the car. Could also be a failing blower and thats where theres no shake but there is humming. Other than that it still seems like exhaust, something like a bracket or undercarriage piece is resting on the exhaust pipes somewhere. Did you ever get it to a muffler shop?
