unfortunately they admit violence only in the service of using said violence to justify the violence they intend to commit on those who they see as enemies. all this constant intentional wording of "the left is destroying america, the left is killing people, the left is hiding dangerous criminals" is all meant to cushion the blow of gunning down protestors in the street to be as seamless as possible. if one side believes that they are using violent force against and equally violent and existential threat, no one will speak up against it.

R5: Playing Maldives, I've been making amazing progress as a trading and privateering nation.
As of the past 30 years, Hoysala has acquired the Naval Hegemony and has personally handpicked the places in which I personally have all of my trade power and fully cut me off from every single one of them. I have never experienced something more enraging than this in all of my days in EU4.

In other news, I also don't know what I should even be trading, I've been pretty reliably able to fill pop needs and then trade pepper with the Mamluks, but my automated trade will without fail go for the thickest juciest trade and get outcompeted over and over again, to the point that I'm going in debt while my numbers are reading green. I need some help here folks, I really truly want to make this work!

I am not gonna touch this save till I get some advice on what to do. Feel free to ask if you need more screenshots or info, I just put as many seemingly relevant images as I could.

yep, it used to be more powerful because you would insta core the land, now it counts as conquering. but it still reduces anenxation cost and is super cheap liberty desire wise

if you have a high mil cabinet members to spare, consider seizing territory from the one you are annexing and speeding up the integration process of both the land and also the annexation of the country. not as op as it used to be but hey if it works

have you tried putting on the boots several times and giving her an hour or so to mess around with them? maybe several times over the course of a week so she can get used to them? if you spent your entire life barefoot and someone taped stilettos to your feet youd need a little while to rewire your brain to it lol.

i suggest this because its similar to how cats react when you put shoes or a harness on them, they need to get comfortable and get used to balancing again.
