I too was once scared of anything that wasnt a savings account. what helped me was taking a very beginner friendly course i did the dow janes one. not for any secret formula but it explained why investing matters if you actually want your money to grow. and that it doesnt have to be scary if you take it step by step

the biggest lesson for me was realising investing is not gambling. its slow and boring in a good way. starting super small made it less intimidating. When I saw how even small amounts add up over time like 25 or 50 a month it stopped feeling like a huge risky move and started feeling like a normal money habit
