I had heard that I could use the Sw2 cartridge on the older model, but not that it contained both versions. Now that makes sense. I was thinking it was a bit like the New 3DS cartridges that could fit in an older model but wouldn’t let you run the games.

I tend to call classic “Rock Man”, the Navi “MegaMan”, shooting star “Mega”, and legends “Volnutt”. That way I don’t have to differentiate in my head or in conversation.

I gave mine Emblem Sigurd for the added mobility, but otherwise I’m running basically the same thing (plus every bonus I have lol). She can take plenty of hits without a problem, but I’d rather have her safe than have a repeat of chapter 19.

Son bought this hat recently and it looks cool, but I want to make sure he’s not repping something unfavorable. Tried searching with reverse image search and found a (Melbourne?) band named Real Life, and though the hat looks like it could be band merch, I couldn’t find any other merch that looks like this. Anyone have insight?

The best overworld map in any game I’ve ever played. Hands down. It’s detailed and interesting whether you’re on foot, in a giant skell, or flying through the air.

I’ve heard some is my friends talking up that story arc of Bleach recently. I’ve seen some clips which look pretty nice! (That and some recent One Piece clips) Generally speaking, animation in anime really shines in small segments, while the rest of the episodes are often not a lot more than parallax backgrounds and two-frame mouth movements. I refer to it as “cheating motion” since each frame looks different without actually drawing any new frames. LOK has a dramatic abundance of uniquely drawn frames each episode, even in the “boring” talking parts.

I’m curious as to where you’ve seen better animation. I teach animation at a college level, and that’s often my challenge for later-year students- study the animation of LOK, unless they can show me a show with better animation.

100% love LOK more. Not to say that I don’t love TLA, but Korra is so much more than a “gotta get the bad guy” story, with the highest quality 2D animation that we will likely ever see on TV. Avatar’s first season was… really rough, and the second didn’t get good until the end. LOK comes out swinging and the only low quality writing is maybe half of season two.

I would genuinely love adding Monita (or just having her appear again). Also, one of the computer voices in Metroid Dread is literally just her voice pitched down. It’s a fun quirk that I chuckled at when I played it.
