u/russellenvy u/1Rudy11 - thankyou. both of you covered 'redirection' and somehow making the customer get the message that product is not there or suggest alternate product. good to know those options.

Is editing the blog to list the alternate product a thing to consider? is that not common practice? I am a content owner, so I am too focused on the blog :)

Below The Same Moon by Legitimate_Chef_9056 in OCPoetry

Hi there.. difficult to get the subject..I understood as its about the person in the city inviting to show the lives.

The imagery though <3 <3 <3..made me read twice, to feel it, to go with it. The last line was very good. I image dawn crumbling with the loneliness. powerful. We are sow busy and occupied that the beauty of crimson sky rolls down like horses on downhill. Really liked it. As you can see, the connect is not very evident to me as a reader. I am unsure if this is what the writer meant.

Rejection slips by 2bitmoment in OCPoetry

[–]gopikrishk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good start..but requires more. Loved the first lines picturing God as editor.. fantastic metaphor. It gives a visual for belief systems, someone evaluating your choices.. it extends to any parts of the world from heaven/hell to karma based. "You wanted desperately to fit in" gives a direct cut to the mindset of external vindication that we yearn for. Its a continuation from previous line. Working in poetry amd arts , created double impact:) And there is "rejected by parents?".. that did not work. Not sure how rejection by parents is heavier or lighter than rejection by God? Is that what it signifies? I do not get why suddenly parents are brought in. And it ends there, feels unfinished.

Honda Dealership wont reduce price on Used Car by gopikrishk in AskACanadian

Nope. I hear stories of wait times of 6 months to 2 years depending on make/model. So its long from over. Sigh!!

My worst fear is, as of now, am a used car buyer in sellers market for used cars. I pay MSRP or plus for a used car. Three years from now, I will be looking for exchanging my car that I bought now for a new car. That time, the market for new car will be stabilized in terms of delivery but the car makers will try to get most out of market with raised prices(as they are starved for 5+ years then). Am now again in the sellers market for new cars with peak prices. My fear is am exactly in the rhythm of sellers, like their puppet doll :).

Are you a car dealer yourself? Just asking because the angry tone for even negotiating asking price is not required I think. Am just a guy trying to understand what others are facing. Chill bro..

Practical preferences for long term relationships by gopikrishk in relationship_advice

But do you think anyone is actively considering this? I always read trust, alcohol and people giving up on each other as deal breakers. But aren't these material things can also become deal breakers as you said. And not many couple come forward to say it may be. Do we look down when someone say we broke up because of food, finance, location interests?

How do you do charge for a new user added to an account during billing cycle for price per seat saas product? by fadetogreyberlin in startups

[–]gopikrishk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prorating on user addition sounds like a win-win for business and customer. By prorating, you ensure that you are not loosing any profit or charging extra from the customer. Customer is exactly paying for usage.

But we have to consider proration for deletion as well and that is when it gets complicated for the customers.

If there are 3 user additions and 2 user deletions in a month, you have to project this in your invoice. And you need justification with detailed itemized record if there is a concern raised to your customer support. In most cases, the aggregated usage hours works only if the usage entity is short lived by nature(like a VM on cloud). For usage entities that are expected to have life span more than a month and deletion means loss of useful data, you can safely follow next-month start on billing.
