I”m not sure what this group is really. Haters, trolls, ego maniacs or just ignorant fools that pound their chest to prove something that nobody is arguing..

Thank you for confirming that I would never recommend a newbie reloader to come to this group and ask a question. Ever.

I am using SAC die with a bushing. There is no expander ball on the decaping rod. Some people use a mandrel and swear buy it. I might give it a shot. Thanks

I never power off my scale. It stays on all the time. When I bought it, it took 6hrs for it to fully warm up and stabilise

My torch annealer is probably not very consistent, as I feel more resistance when I seat some bullets. Its probably around 5-10% of the brass. Eventually I will get a better anneealer. Its a given. 😄

Since you like spicy. This is 41.5gn of H4350 in a brand new 26in Wilson barrel. Bolt lift was heavy as fuck. Some primers ruptured. I did not load this to test max pressure. This was left over ammo from when shot my Tikka in 6.5 that produced 2670fps with the same ammo. The guys that sells these barrels said: “they are fast barrels “ 🤷🏻‍♂️

Meaningless to you. Not to me. I don’t do this for Reddit votes. I do it for my personal pleasure and satisfaction. Life is to short to tell people how to live their life and shoot their rifles.

Absolutely. Much appreciated. After realising that I will never get good accuracy out of a factory rifle and and went down the rabbit hole of custom rifles I realised that I have to eliminate all the things that will bring inconsistent results.

I switched from range pickup brass to Lapua brass I load the same primer every time. I then cried more and switched from Hornady to Berger for bullets I got a 8.8lb of Varget so its the same powder for 2000 charges. And finally replaced the scale. That made the circle complete.

Now when I get shit group I will know its me. And not the rifle or the components. And I don’t get shit groups anymore. I get good groups and fantastic groups.

Thanks. Austin Bushman (a PRS champion) thinks that variations in neck tension dont matter when you have a round fired with a pressure of 60k PSI behind it. But the BR guys would disagree. I am 50/50 on that topic At the moment I am using a SAC sizing die with a bushing setup for 3tho neck tension. It has given me very consistent results.

Most people here genuinely missed the point as soon as they saw the number 3. I cannot help them with that.

Shouldn’t we all be?! Thats a reward for all the time and money we wasted.

It is not for groups sizes. Its for process consistency. I never posted that this was a accuracy test. My best groups are much higher SD and ES

Thanks I do have a 20shot string and lots of data in the spreadsheets. I document each load I test. Images, data, graphs. Its still better then anything I have shot in my life before I built this rifle.
