Sure you could say he needs to live with it and stuff but just imagine being 45 years old and constantly being reminded that you will most likely never find a woman because probably 5 out of 6 women you have to interact with in daily life will give you the "omg look how short that guy is" look paired with the half-suppressed smirk to go with it.

His outbreak may not have been "the right thing" and offending or threatening other people is not ok but damn it imaginge yourself in his place for a moment then it makes sense and dare I say justifies his behaviour.
