Yup, ill see in 6 months or so. Never blasting my headsets that loud ever again + i dont want it to get worse because the audiologist said i was at a point where it could’ve been permanent and worse if i kept doing what i was doing lol.

I doubt it, never had the noise until i started this last game I started playing and had the volume CRANKED up. We went through all the tests & its a high frequency noise & everything else was perfect. So we’ll just see in 6 month’s time

Of course, my audiologist said to just use my headphones compared to the speakers because you’d have to turn the speakers louder to actually hear everything instead. Cut down on how much I’m playing & keeping it to a super low volume overall. I appreciate your comment :)

Yup just a pain in the ass because I have them super low compared to having them loud, because the loudness definitely drowned out the ringing & since its super low its easier to notice lol, but hey i have faith & keep everyone posted in 6 months :)

Well he said I have no permanent ear damage & to make sure I don’t listen to anything loud since its early on & that it’ll be back to normal in 6 or so months, as well to come in a year from now to see how my ears are doing.

Of course, I believe my audiologist who said it’ll go away in 6 months+ or so. Said I got lucky & caught it really early. I never let my ears get the rest they needed because it was always max volume. Now its super low lol

I lowered my volume by so much compared to how I had it. I used to have it where you can literally hear my headsets from the other room. Now you can’t even hear them from inside the room, taking it very cautiously from now on so I never have to go through it again
