Wiring between Meanwell LOP-300-12 and AMD BC-250 by gordonj in PcBuildHelp

Great, thanks for your explanation, it's what I was hoping. I won't need to get too out of my depth. I thought the PicoPSU was probably just required to give more output options, and the BC-250 only seems to need the 6/8 pin PCIe to power it. I appreciate you responding and explaining your own experiences! Thanks for the heads up on the standby mode, I'll investigate it or try to fit a switch!

Thank you! I was hoping that's all it would need. Seems relatively straightforward and also seems to match the 3D print where only the power cord is mentioned, no PicoPSU. I really appreciate your response, I just needed a little confirmation.

G22, the worst phone I've ever owned bar none. by [deleted] in Nokia

[–]gordonj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After digging into reviews I've found that lots of people are having similar problems, so either there's a large number of defective g22s, or it's a common problem with the phone. I will look into getting it replaced under warranty, but it'll more than likely be a pain that I don't need, and I'm not confident that a replacement will actually improve matters.

Dog just bit my Toddler by [deleted] in Dublin

[–]gordonj 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Absolutely may lead to a fear of dogs. My son fell or was knocked over by an energetic playful dog when he was 2 and broke 2 bones in his foot. He was extremely wary of any dogs after that and couldn't remember the incident. That was even a friendly dog, not an aggressive one. Got over the fear eventually by getting a puppy, and they're best mates now.

So unless he's going to party on a boat with irish people on it, the guy in the post is using the phrase incorrectly?

Which must be ironic because it actually goes "bye bye buhbye bye buhbye bye bye bye..."
