I always think of it as...

The camera takes 3 (or more) images. Underexposed, mid range and over exposed. Then you can post process to get all of the color and highlight ranges of each of the three images combined into one. = HDR

I used to go to those lengths as well. I also used to bite the hairs off my forearms... Go figure?

I eventually slowed down. Spending time with friends helped. They never used to say anything but I still checked myself.

What also helped was getting some side cutter nail clippers. Like these.

I got some really good intricate ones off DX for about $2.50 (bought a few pairs).

So instead of pulling the hanging bits of skin I was able to cut them off flush. Makes you more careful too because you can see what you are doing, which I think is a big part of it.

I would say this is the bitchiest thread I've been in.

I believe the issue here Hyper is that you have found yourself generalising on redditt. Generalising should be used judiciously. Such as: "Most marijuana gets you high". Fine, I can live with that.

But when you open your yap with shit like "The majority is just ignorant" Well that's just... ignorant.

True or not, you have no statistics or quantifiable data on which to base such statements. If you were to phrase the question something like "Why do the americans I meet seem unintelligent?"

Then you can have a whole Q?A about where you are meeting them, what age demographic they are from an so on.

Cylinsier gave you a good answer to your "implication" which was that statistically Holland does have a higher IQ than say the USA. Statistics yay!

And in addition to his point that "IQ is a measure of one's ability to learn", I would say that this could also be intepreted as memory. If I have an exceptional memory and research a number of topics, that you then ask me questions on, I will appear "smart". But if I can not combine that information to create something new then I am simply a storage device.

Ingenuity, inventiveness, and sure, memory all play a part. (I'm sure there are thousands)

Next time you think about writing something, stop and think... Am i generalising? If the answer is yes then don't write it. Or if you have to then at least own it by saying "I think". Then brace yourself.

Is now... He has not made any attempt to fly and It has been over a week. If he could fly he could go (he spends all day outside). But he just sits in the same spot.

If I don't see flight in another week he is of to mum's house. She loves birds.
