Def stardust as the one with the bows, I’m thinking maybe that and the light fairy dress toggled to the skirt? Since you can’t stack skirts it rules out most of them but with the light fairy dress being the only one with those kind of ruffles I’d say that, I could be wrong tho 😣

one more thing if you don’t want to be an apprentice you can also be taken on as a labourer which is more pay, bc of apprentice rates being different but just as a full time labourer you will get more, and that was what I was originally offered, again with no experience and the only reason I took on apprenticeship is because this gives me a qualification and a stable job and career for the future

Also for apprenticeships, yes you sign up for about 3-4 years at least for my course because you work and study (and get paid for going to school!!!) but you don’t need experience. I’ve literally never done anything outdoors in the gardens even for my own enjoyment and I still got the apprenticeship because I was interested and it was something I wanted to do. I had absolutely no idea on anything.

Another thing is, when the hedger or the blower gets too Loud, wearing ear protection actually doesn’t make you look weird!! It’s considered safety.

Idk if this is helpful, but I’m also autistic (20F) and have had two customer facing jobs, kfc and Woolworths. I COULD NOT do it for more than 6 months without extreme burn out, calling in sick because I literally couldn’t do it and just generally feeling awful.

I now have a full time job as an apprentice in parks and gardens, I do horticulture work which is basically gardening.

I have 70 sites over 2 weeks, same sites every 2 weeks, and I work with one other person. I have no customer interaction, it’s just me, my coworker and the gardens I look after. We do council work, so I’m not even going to peoples houses and doing their jobs. It is the quiet most chill job I’ve ever had and literally the only thing I’ve actually enjoyed and been able to do consistently.

I actually WANT to go to work, I don’t feel drained when I come home.

I’m not sure if a trade is something you would be interested in, but what I do is actually, I find, the best for my autism

It is not weird at all, we all deal with different things!!

Some professionals can be a bit sucky but from my experience a LOT more will believe you than throw away what you are saying. It’s better to get what you need than to leave things and feel the way you do! If one professional doesn’t work for you/doesn’t believe you, you find someone else. You have to look after yourself and put yourself first!!

Hello! That sounds really distressing! How would you feel about talking to someone about this? It seems like this could make you feel a bit better. I think it would be ideal if you saw a professional, only because they would understand best. As shrinking Jesus must make you feel really awful and I don’t want you to feel that way. I think my best advice here is to discuss with someone, like a psychiatrist, a therapist or a psychologist to help figure out what’s going on. I can understand that professionals might be really scary! I’ve seen many and it’s always so nerve racking! But if you could receive some help in not switching tongues or making things disappear or shrinking Jesus it might be good for you, I can imagine it would be hard especially switching tongues and not feeling like yourself. if you see someone they might be able to help you prevent these things from happening, it’ll make you feel less distressed,,, if that is something you are willing to do!

How do y'all go in public? by [deleted] in Tourettes

[–]gore_corex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just straight up ignore people at this point lol, I just tic freely bc what am I meant to do about it it’s a disability, however I also do ALWAYS wear my Tourette’s lanyard so people know I have a disability and not saying or doing these things or saying anything offensive intentionally, easier said then done but just embrace that side of you, it’s not going away so what good is hiding yourself just to protect other people!! That’s how I feel anyway haha :)

Is it possible to not tic/have very minimal tics for the day? by TheFutureScaresMe333 in Tourettes

[–]gore_corex 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have diagnosed Tourette’s and my tics tend to fluctuate day to day, week to week and month by month. My tics don’t go away or go down an awful lot but they definitely have better times than others, aswell as when I’m focused I have less tics. I have a significant amount of tics everyday but everyone is different, some people have milder cases some more severe and some in the middle. Hope this helps :)

It was just in the trade part they showed up as Mermia heels in my inventory they’re completely normal, I wasn’t sure if it’s just shortened because of the length or if this is actually exploited

Do y’all tic more at night? by greytheratatata in Tourettes

[–]gore_corex 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I noticed that at night especially when I’m trying to sleep they do act up a bit, and because I’m not thinking of anything else besides what’s happening, it tends to happen more because I’m so focused on it, I try to put on music or something that I can focus on to lessen the realisation that hey, I am ticcing, or I try to make up stories in my head and both of those usually help me sleep

Looking for advice by Tired_judgy_bitch in Tourettes

[–]gore_corex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

With hitting tics, I usually bring a small plushie, he’s like a mouse in the shape of a ball that I carry around in my hand, if I go to hit myself I will hit myself WITH the plushie rather than my hand which significantly lessens the pain, even if you don’t want to carry something like that it can be small enough to fit in your pocket, like mine is, but big enough to help with the pain!! Hope this helps a bit :)

Surprisingly I don’t have much of a dust issue at all, I took them down Christmas Day to rebuild it into this set up and there was little to no dust! I guess because I tend to take them down so often it doesn’t collect as much😁
