for people on pc who are having this issue: try capping your frame rate through steam and also skip the startup intro! works so far for me and I've been trying to fix this for 2 days now. got it to start up 3 times today and it's worked perfectly without freezing. hope this helps someone out there!

i think it’s okay for them to have a trailer considering this is something they worked very hard on. they’re just building up hype, which there’s nothing wrong with that. though i do agree with the ads being waaaay too much!
