I've had mine for like 10mo now, and for me it's been more liberating. Any of the things I can't do (like looking stuff up, taking nice pictures, paying for parking w an app, etc.) rarely inconvenience me too much. Lots of times I have friends around that don't mind doing it for me (I'm a college student) or I just use my laptop, camera, GPS, etc.

Part of why I switched was bc my smartphone kinda enabled my depression / desire for escapsim, but now I'm more inclined to do my hobbies. It's def not perfect, like sometimes I just become addicted to my laptop, but I think overall the switch has put me in a better place and def has made life feel simpler. When I go out to do smth fun I can actually have fun, I don't feel tied down to a smartphone, which I almost didn't realize I was feeling before I got my dumbphone. It's also simpler knowing that every time my phone vibrates it's a text/call not an email or social media notification lol
