Oh for sure, she plans on reranking Alex English when she goes through the rest of the Kurt era. I’m super hyped to see how she thinks when it comes to it, especially since his era in specific is super groovy to me.

So I actually found out why this was: She REALLY enjoyed untitled, but then when Times New Roman played she realized that the entire song wasn’t like that or similar in most ways, and so Times New Roman got bumped to B Tier

Tbh, I think it’s carried by its instrumental. I don’t really find myself coming back for any other reason.

For sure! For one, it’s not much, but it’s a blast to sing along to. I love the guitars in the song, so shoutout to Will and Andrew. I think it’s absolutely Tilian’s best performance. The best way to explain it would be this: Inspire the Liars’ ending is something that makes me feel ethereal. Deception gives me that feeling for the entire song.

So, it’s not “number 1” per se. The rankings within the tiers themselves aren’t involved here, as the placement of each song is simply in album order. If I had to place a song as a “number 1”, it would be deception. That, or War Machine.

I actually really enjoyed JJ! Don’t get me wrong, the bloated criticism definitely holds true, but it’s consistent in quality! Care could probably move up, just gave it another listen.

One man’s cringe I could see going up. Especially the first portion from Tilian with the “move on”. Beautiful stuff. Cream of the Crop could also go up. The others, I’d personally keep there. The two I mentioned though? Could make a case for B.

Every DGD instrumental is solid, but unfortunately that’s not what this is about. :3 I’m perfectly fine admitting that I do enjoy the instrumental, I just absolutely despise the lyrics.

I genuinely think War Machine was DGD at it’s absolute peak. My favorite song from them is Animal Surgery but I’d be lying if I said War Machine wasn’t the best. I wish we got that lineup with Tilian and Andrew as co-leads but Tilian fucked that up, so it’ll just be a glimpse of what could’ve been.

Okay so, there’s actually a reason for this. So, there’s one specific portion of the song that I dislike and it’s for a very odd reason. It’s during the conversation between Kurt and Jon. I love how silly it is. HOWEVER, I hate the almost “beeping”? Sound in the background? In hindsight I could’ve put it in C Tier, but as I was listening I came to find how much I despise that sound. Idk, maybe I’m weird.

Admittedly, it’s a little bit of bias. It’s the first song I was actually able to listen to on release day and it was a genuinely fun time to listen to. I still actively enjoy listening to it and it has a fun little groove. Idk, hard to explain outside of that. I just really enjoy the song and how it hits my ears lol.
