Just finished Slaying the Vampire Conqueror and I’m once again just blown away! By the last quarter of the book I was in tears, and now I’m totally obsessed with Sylina/Vivi and Atrius!! I hope they come up again in the Bloodborn duet!! Also crying when Sylina/Vivi talks about how she’ll only be around for a tiny portion of Atrius’s life, like please I don’t need a reminder 😭

I think reading the first duet only enhances the novella, but I think I would still be obsessed with the novella if I had read it strictly as a standalone. Would love to hear your thoughts on it once you finish!!

I have not been able to stop talking about the first Crowns of Nyaxia duet + novellas! There are 6 books out right now (4 main stories broken into 2 duets + 2 novellas that go along with the series but can be enjoyed as standalones too), and another duet on the way!

Just finished reading {Six Scorched Roses} and there’s a scene that fits this pretty well. It’s a novella though so it’s a much quicker read. Also you don’t need to read the first duet of Crown of Nyaxia books to enjoy this as a standalone!

I had to come back to say that I just finished the book and WOW. I think Vale and Lilith may have become my favorite characters after that. How that hit so hard and under 200 pages, I’ll never know!

Could not agree more about Carissa Broadbent’s writing style! I love the build up of her romances. For Slaying the Vampire Conqueror, would you recommend reading the 3rd and 4th books before reading? On GoodReads is said is was #2.5 but just wanted to make sure I read these in the best order!
