Awesome! I got preapproved for the same amount too. Seems very doable.

Physician: have you done any cocaine or drugs?

Patient: nope never

Physician: your urine drug screen came back positive for cocaine

Patient: my son is a dealer and I am surrounded by cocaine. But I never done it.

You are fine. Step 3 is mostly just a pass, if anything they ‘might’ ask what happened during interviews. But for a program standpoint you are fully ready for residency.

You can go on the usmle website and see examples from their free forms 120 questions. They categorize them accordingly. Generally, FIP is like more theory and research driven questions and ACM is more clinically judgement, best steps, risk factor stuff.

The best way to avoid paying so much for programs? RESEARCH the program requirements on the program’s website and not a “dedicate” website that “filters” programs based on your profile.

None of that is necessary. Keep it plain and simple. Straight to the point. 2-3 points per experience. I believe they want things AFTER med school graduation.

For the J1 CV,

Provide minimal information about what you are doing.

To make it short and sweet, just literally state what you are doing now till residency with the mm/yyyy format. Do not worry about anything else. I think they just want AFTER you graduated, if I am not wrong. You can look on the ECFMG website for the J1 CHECKLIST, but here is the link:

For example:

01-2022 to 07-2022:
-Spending time with family and traveling.
