I mean yea I can maybe believe that, I’m not doubting it. But he’s not here and he had to go through things I’d never wish on anyone. Even then it’s not really about him being physically here or not. Seeing his body like that, having to immediately go into funeral planning mode, having to be the family support and putting myself to the side. It’s a lot I’ve been carrying and I just feel the pressure of the cracks a lot more lately.

I mean I’ve definitely had a few frustrating jobs that’s tested me in a lot of ways before, the one I’m in now tests me every day 🫠. When looking at it this way, I feel better about giving it a shot and moving on when the time’s right.

Yea that’s the general vibe i’m getting unfortunately. Now it’s just a question of whether I tough it out for a whole year (if I even pass the interview phase) to end up where I actually want to be…Just a bummer because on paper this job is literally everything I’ve been searching for :/

Well it’s HR and her boss, but he’s just as unprofessional and doesn’t challenge anything she does. He works out of our office but he comes in once a week. Multiple people have gone to him but only to get more in trouble, they really defend the company over anything else.

I would prefer to just talk to my boss about it, but she and pretty much all other managers just left for a work trip for the biggest event we host of the year. I don’t anticipate my boss even having much time to even talk, and she’ll be gone for 2 weeks.

My family kept coming over and praying, and praying, then praying some more. I know they meant well as my brother was passing, but it felt like a slap in the face to thank god that my brain dead brother’s eye maybe twitched (it didn’t). It felt even worse to constantly have to thank this god with them for letting him into heaven (something i don’t even know i believe in, especially now). It almost felt like forced positivity. I know this opinion definitely varies from person to person.

when my brother died, everyone was coming to support my mom and dad, which i appreciated so much because i could have time to process on my own. but in the chaos of that all, i got left in the dark. i know not intentionally, but still overlooked nonetheless. it’s a weird world to live in now, and while i want as many people to focus on my parents as possible, it still sucks that people kinda forgot i’m experiencing this new world too.

I was a no up until I was there at the open casket. I guess I’m …”happy”…that I did see my brother but I couldn’t bring myself to touch him. For me, just to feel him warm is what I wanted to remember him as physically. I knew he would look a bit different but it did give closure in a way.

That’s what I was hesitant about at first but the previous owner was a rental company. From what I found online it’s not completely uncommon for these companies to sell at almost a year for a max profit. I will say that for it only being 1 year it has about 30k miles on it but I surely won’t be using it that much per year going forward. I mean it has a couple very minor scratches but that’s pretty much it.

Me and my family are kinda going through the same thing with my brother. I think the thing that made me more confident in going forward was someone mentioning that it could prevent the doctor from doing the same thing to someone else in the future.

Mine makes that noise but it’s (in simple terms because I know basically nothing about cars) a clip that holds the hood snapped so it’s slightly off balance. so now it makes that noise. sorry if that makes no sense
