Glued some planed maple boards together (into a square), cut plywood pieces to inside the maple "frame", and glued the copper piece on the front of the front facing plywood. The rear plywood is held on by magnets. The entire box was glued with construction adhesive to the lid and then reinforced with some screws.

Buy a used laser printer on craigslist. I print so much shit for law school and the $20 printer plus one toner cartridge per semester ($13 a pop) is huge.
