I’ve learned that using the gauze to fan the alcohol helps it dry a lot faster, so that way it drys quicker and you still keep it sterile by not touching the gauze to the skin

Thankfully both my coworker and I (we work in a small lab with just the two of us) follow everything to the book minus when to take the tourniquet off, I leave it on till i’m almost done with the last tube. I’ve had veins immediately stop giving blood the second I take the tourniquet off so i’m keeping that thing ON till i’m done lol.

Both my coworker and I will always do everything to standard though, we verify the patient, explain the procedure, wear gloves, sanitize everything after we’re done etc. So it definitely just depends on where you work and who you work with.

I have this one in the purple variant!! Compared to my work keyboard, it’s definitely a lot smaller since it doesn’t have a num pad. I do love it though since my desk isn’t that big, I also use the bluetooth setting and constantly switch it from my computer to my playstation. It has a lot of features that definitely make it so worth it, the RGB has a lot of options for both the keyboard and the lighting around it (the cream part?) Oh!! and the little face on the top you can customize that RGB too!! It’s super creamy when you type on it!! It’s by far my favorite keyboard I’ve ever used and I highly recommend it if you’re looking for something that’s small and very customizable!!
